[Evan] It all started with losing my job
I had never stepped into the entrepreneur space, all of my family and friends had a 9-5 job.
As a favor for a family member, we were asked to list some items on new reselling platforms like LetGo and OfferUp. To our surprise, we actually began to sell a few things successfully. It was a taste of things to come.
But in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, I got laid off from my job – I was still in a private university at the time ($$$) and my wife was the main breadwinner with her own $100k+ student loan.
All I was thinking was, "What can I do to help?"
Finding work during a global pandemic was extremely difficult and potentially dangerous, but we needed the money.
The job my wife was working at took more emotionally than it gave back financially, and we were both burned out.
[Misa] From side hustle to 6-figures
I was burning out at work and still not making the money I wanted. So, co-worker told me about an online reselling platform called Poshmark. I excitedly began listing gently used clothing and random things laying around the house.
Little did we know that this would begin our life-changing journey of creating and crafting a lucrative reselling system.
I needed a new job, so I applied to more than a hundred different job interviews and no one ever called me back. Not even one. I felt even more depressed.
Eventually, I couldn't take the emotional toll at my job and made the hard decision to quit. Looking back, It was literally one of the best decisions we ever made.
We began slowly shifting our energy from our other jobs to reselling clothing. However, we failed in so many areas which forced us to create accountability systems that propelled us towards succes.
We now can work less hours than our 9-5 jobs, make more money than we've ever before (even though we aren't even using our university degrees) and get the immense freedom of being our own bosses.
It’s not just about the money
Life's not getting easier. With inflation on the rise, paying for housing, health concerns, and hunger is harder than ever. And that's what's driven us to create this life-changing course here at Pro Reseller Academy. Not only does our reselling business offer quality clothing for affordable prices in a world of expensive goods, it also promotes a more sustainable earth.
But we wanted to take a step further and enable others to learn the skills and systems that can liberate them just as it did for us.
Thanks to our online reselling business, we're able to spend time with friends and family, get regular sleep, completely pay off all our student loans, and save up for our first home.
Now, it's our goal to share this reselling system to you (and share all its many benefits).
